VISA REQUIREMENTS
STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL PERSONS APPLYING FOR KOREAN VISA
• Application form duly filled in and signed and must be typewritten
(The Application Form can be obtained from the Embassy or
downloaded from www.mofat.go.kr)
• One 2X2 or passport sized COLORED picture
• Passport (original and photocopy of the first page)
• Photocopy of previous and valid advanced country visas (USA,
Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Korea) for Frequent Travellers
• Required documents
VISA APPLICATION SCHEDULE
WINDOW 3
• First time Travellers (Applicants who have never been out of the
Philippines and do not have previous and valid advanced country visas)
NOTE: Personal Appearance is required for every applicant. In case of
family members or employees of the same company intending to
travel together, one family member or one employee may apply for
visas on behalf of other applicants.
Processing Time: 7 working days
WINDOW 4
• FREQUENT TRAVELLERS (Applicants who are holders of advanced
country visas: USA, Canada, Japan Australia, New Zealand, Korea)
• SEAMEN applying for transit visa
• Applicants for TRAINEE visa (with Confirmation of Visa Issuance)
NOTE: No need for personal appearance
Processing Time : 3 working days
Please be informed that filing is from 9‐11a.m. only on a first come, first serve basis.
If transit (to the USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia only) no need
to secure a visa, but must not stay beyond 30 days and with confirmed
onward ticket to the 3rd country
VISA FEES
• No fee for 59 days below of stay
• fee of Php2,500.00 (or the equivalent of $30 in Peso) for 60‐90
days stay
• fee of Php3,000.00 (or the equivalent of $50 in Peso) for more than
90 days stay
• fee for Foreign nationals will depend on their intended duration of
stay and their nationality

• Employment Certificate (original)
• Personal Bank Certificate (original)
• Individual Income Tax Return (photocopy)
• If invited to Korea: Original Invitation Letter notarized in Korea & photocopy
• of the Inviter’s Passport (1st page only)
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR RELIGIOUS WORKERS
• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or Passport sized colored picture Passport (original &
photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• Certification from the Church (original)
• Personal Bank Certificate (original)
• Original Invitation Letter notarized in Korea & photocopy of the
Inviter’s Passport (1st page only)

• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or passport sized colored picture
• Passport (original & photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• Business Registration from SEC or DTI (photocopy)
• Business Permit or Mayor’s Permit (photocopy)
• PERSONAL Bank Certificate (original)
• Individual Income Tax Return (photocopy)
• If invited to Korea: Original Invitation Letter notarized in Korea &
photocopy of the Inviter’s Passport (1st page only)
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINOS MARRIED TO KOREAN NATIONALS
• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or passport sized colored picture
• Passport (original & photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• Invitation Letter from spouse (original)
• Photocopy of the first page of the Korean national’s Passport
• Marriage Contract in Security Paper (SECPA) issued by NSO (original & photocopy)
NOTE: Need to be interviewed by the Consul with their Korean husband/wife.

• Passport (original & photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• School Certificate (original)
• Photocopy of School ID
• Bank Certificate (of applicant or applicant’s parents: original)
• Birth Certificate (if submitting parent’s documents; photocopy)
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINOS MARRIED TO MILITARY PERSONNEL STATIONED IN KOREA
• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or passport sized colored picture
• Passport (original & photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• Invitation Letter notarized in Korea (original)
• Photocopy of Inviter’s Military I.D.
• Photocopy of Military Order
• Marriage Contract in Security Paper (SECPA) issued by NSO (original & photocopy)
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS IN THE PHILIPPINES
• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or passport sized colored picture
• Passport (original & Photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• Employment Certificate (original) OR Business Registration from
SEC/DTI (photocopy) AND/OR Business/Mayor’s Permit (photocopy)

• ACR/ICR (photocopy)
• Re‐entry permit
• Original Invitation Letter (If invited to Korea)
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINEES
(Will stay for more than 90 days in Korea)
• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or passport sized colored picture
• Passport (original & photocopy of first page) (Must be at least 6 mos. valid)
• Original & Photocopy of Certificate of Confirmation of Visa Issuance (blue form)
• Visa FEE: Php2,500.00
VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR SEAFARERS (TRANSIT VISA)
• Application form (typewritten)
• One 2X2 or passport sized colored picture
• Original Seaman’s Book (with logo of the company)
• Photocopy of the first page of the Seaman’s Book
• Photocopy of the first page of Passport
• Original endorsement letter from Manning/Shipping Company in the Philippines
• Photocopy of the Guarantee letter from the Korean Company
• Photocopy of Overseas Employment Cert. (OEC)
• Photocopy of Employment Contract
• Photocopy of Medical Certificate
• EDI (Electronic data Interchange) report & previous seamen sent
to Korea. This can be requested from the Shipping Agent in Korea
• NOTE: Only ONE of application(s) PER company will be accepted
per day. No individual applications will be accepted
